It HAD to be alliterative. My first forum post is therefore about 'free from' foods. And there will be many, because we have quite a few intolerances in this household!
I myself am not dairy free but fat heavy cow dairy - anything over 1% fat from a cow dairy product will have me reeling...on the wrong day...
Because of this, I always have oat milk ready to hand for milky coffees. I recommend it if you like creamy milk without that pureed Shredded Wheat flavour :) Until a company offers to pay me to advertise for them, I shan't so - pick your own brand :)
My son also has an intolerance to too much fatty cow milk - any more than 2 bottles a day of full fat cow dairy and he is in a sorry state, like a cow in labour :( So, anytime he wants more milk, I offer him oat. He LOVES it too :)
Dairy free butter is necessary for good cookies though, and it is BLINKING expensive 😝so I use olive oil when I can, say in cakes, but have to pay through the nose for that brick like vegan butter for good cookies.
What do you all do?
